Our light and airy one bedroom apartment can accommodate 2 adults and a child 5 to 12 (age restriction due to spiral staircase) on a pull out bed.
It’s situated in a peaceful area of St Brelade next to the Railway Walk (pedestrian and cycle path) at the top of Petit Port hill.
Upstairs is a bright open plan room which has been finished to a high standard with quality furniture and fittings. Downstairs is a double bedroom, bathroom and small hall. Although attached to the main house it is completely private and spotlessly clean.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2019. It has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for your safety. Upstairs is one room which is open plan and incorporates a new fully fitted kitchen (Neff oven, fridge, hob and dishwasher and Panasonic microwave) and all the kitchen equipment you need for a comfortable stay.
There is a small dining table with 4 chairs, comfy sofa, new 55 inch Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, WIFI, a wood burning stove (logs to purchase at £6 a bag) and underfloor heating.
A door leads to a spiral staircase down to the small hall, double bedroom with king size bed, lots of wardrobe space and a hairdryer. The new bathroom has a walk in shower with Grohe fitments, Duravit units and sanitary ware, underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
There is a single premium fold down guest bed suitable for one child (aged 5 to 12) at an extra cost of £10 per day. This can be put in the bedroom or in the upstairs room as required. Because of the spiral staircase I am sorry to say that it is not suitable for young children possibly under 5 years or guests with disabilities.
There is an outside seating area and parking for one car. I have provided an iron and ironing board in the cupboard upstairs, two beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. You are very welcome to make use of our garden with the love seat provided outside the apartment.
This is a NON SMOKING apartment and animals are not permitted.
Guests have use of the entire apartment which is very private and has its own entrance at the back of the house.
You will have your own key and can drop off your luggage if you arrive in the island earlier than check in, provided you let me know and you can also leave your luggage at the end of your stay if you are departing later than the 10am check out.
Other things to note
We are lucky to live in the western parish of St Brelade in the countryside, where we have some of the best beaches and coastal walks in the island. The coastal walks around Jersey have been voted the best in the UK by Conde Nest.
From the apartment you can walk 15 to 25 minutes to some fabulous restaurants. Corbiere Lighthouse, Beauport Beach, St Brelade’s Bay and Ouaisne Beach are beautiful areas to explore and are one to two miles away.
We have a good bus service that stops outside our lane where you can visit St Ouen, St Brelade, St Aubin and St Helier. Although a short walk away, you can also get to Corbiere Lighthouse by bus which stops about 5 mins from the apartment.
A Miele washing machine and dryer is located in the main house and is available for guests use at no charge when we are in the island. I have also provided a complimentary starter pack of tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, extra virgin olive oil, honey, cling film, kitchen foil, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, hand washing liquid, hand sanitising gel and wipes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel and tissues available for your use.
During the shoulder and winter months if you wish to arrive on a day other than Saturday, please email me and any stays longer than two weeks please ask for discount.
We recommend you take out Travel Insurance to cover any unexpected event such as illness, accident, death and travel delay etc. as the price quoted is based on a non-refundable reservation.
